Spring has officially sprung and that means that the world is starting to get incredibly colorful again. And that’s all thanks to the beautiful flowers that are popping up all over the place! Spring is the perfect time of year to stitch flowers and that’s why I recently released my newest embroidery pattern. Embroidery, a timeless craft, offers a delightful way to capture the essence of spring in your décor. Imagine bringing to life delicate petals and lush foliage through needle and thread. It’s so much fun and the result is absolutely gorgeous!
Which flowers can you stitch?
Selecting the perfect floral design to start stitching doesn’t have to be a challenge. In my newest embroidery flower stitch pattern I’ve collected a few wildflowers for you to embroider. I’ve combined cute daises, budding forsythia and pink blossoms with a few green leaves to create a sweet spring bouquet. Each flower holds its own allure, waiting to be translated onto fabric. But obviously it’s completely up to you which color flowers you decide to stitch. You can use the floss you already have at home to create a colorful bouquet or order the exact same colors as I’ve used. In this new, flowery pattern you really don’t need more than one skein per color to create a lovely tapestry of wildflowers.
Stitching my mental health back together this spring
I have always experienced cross stitch and embroidery projects as extremely therapeutic. Working on this flowery embroidery project almost brought me to a meditative state! It helps me to let go of everyday stress and breath my way through a short embroidery break or a longer stitching session. If the sun is peeking through the clouds you can sometimes even find me outside in the garden soaking up some of its rays whilst stitching. The stitches you’ll be using in this pattern are all super accessible and I go into great detail explaining how to create each stitch. Have you already stitched the split stitch, satin stitch, straight stitch and straight stitch before? Then this project is going to be easy peasy! I’ve also added the slightly more challenging French knot to the project. But I’m sure that you’ll also be able to stitch the flower that goes with this stitch without any issues. I’ve made sure to add as much info as possible to create the perfect French knot. It looks so cute!

Does this spring flower embroidery pattern sound like a whole lot of fun? Then it’s time to start stitching!
