Embroidering herbs

Embroider green herbs: basil, oregano, rosemary, mint, and more. It's fun to make, because you can embroider a single herb plant each time. This way, you divide the large piece (21.5 x 30.5 cm) into nine smaller embroidered pieces. This keeps you motivated to keep working on it. A fun project to make, with a beautiful result that looks great hanging in your kitchen, for example.

Skill level: Suitable if you know the basics of cross stitch. Or watch the videos on how to embroider! In addition to cross stitch, you'll also use a lot of back stitch in this piece, which gives the herb sprigs beautiful details.

Embroidery hoop: If necessary, use an embroidery hoop to keep the fabric taut while embroidering. This can be ordered separately. An embroidery hoop can be moved across the fabric, so the entire design doesn't have to fit inside. A diameter of approximately 20 cm is comfortable to work with.
