Personal data of persons under the age of 16
I do not intend to process personal data of persons under the age of 16. However, I cannot verify whether a visitor to my websites and servers is older than 16. If you believe I have collected personal data from a minor without the consent of a parent or guardian, please contact me at support@irisborduurt.nl. And then, if possible, I will delete this information. If I collect data from persons under the age of 16, this will always be done with the consent of their parent or guardian.

I have data processing agreements and/or confidentiality agreements with subcontractors to ensure the security of your data. I only work with partners who comply with GDPR legislation.
Some of my partners are located outside the European Economic Area (the countries within the European Union, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Iceland). Your data may be processed in the United States and/or other countries where these companies maintain cloud storage, servers, and/or backups.
I have taken appropriate measures with these partners, which are contractually agreed upon through a data processing agreement/Data Processing Addendum or a model agreement from the European Commission (click here) . The stricter GDPR has often already been signed and implemented by most of them. This way, I ensure that your data is properly protected.
Transfer to third parties
In principle, I do not share or sell your data with individuals or organizations outside of Iris ter Haar, except with partners as described above. I may also be legally obligated to share your data.
The security of your data
Iris ter Haar has taken appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against misuse, unlawful or unauthorized use, and loss.
All parties who process your data for me (subprocessors) or have access to it (e.g., employees or contractors) sign a data processing agreement or confidentiality agreement. These agreements and associated data are retained for as long as I continue to work with these parties.
How long will your data be retained?
I use different retention periods for different data streams. Of course, you always have the right to request that I delete your data. See also the section "Your rights."
Personal data:
I will delete your name, address, telephone number and email address 2 years after our last contact.
E-mail:
Emails older than 2 years will be deleted unless they are still relevant for executing an agreement or resolving a dispute.
Invoices and quotes:
Invoices and quotes can be deleted after the statutory retention period of 7 years. Your data will remain in my billing system until then.
Newsletter:
You can delete your data from my newsletter system at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data or to object to the processing of your personal data by Iris ter Haar. You also have the right to data portability. You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, or transfer of your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data, to support@irisborduurt.nl .
To verify that the request for access has been made by you, please include a copy of your ID with the request. In this copy, please redact your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number, and Citizen Service Number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy.
If your request concerns a cookie, please include it as well. I will respond to your request as soon as possible, but no later than within four weeks. Iris ter Haar would also like to inform you that you have the right to lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Reporting a data breach
If, despite all precautions, a data breach does occur, I will comply with the data breach notification obligation and, if necessary, report it to the Dutch Data Protection Authority within 72 hours of discovering it. If you discover a data breach, please inform me as soon as possible, but in any case within 24 hours of discovering it, by sending an email to support@irisborduurt.nl . I can then take immediate action.
Liability
This privacy statement applies solely to the personal data Iris ter Haar processes for the purposes discussed in this agreement. Iris ter Haar accepts no responsibility or liability for (the operation and/or content of) third-party websites or services.
Changes to this statement
Iris ter Haar may amend this privacy statement at any time to reflect new developments in legislation or regulations, or changes within my company. You can subscribe to my newsletter, where I'll keep you updated on any changes.
In any case, I recommend that you consult my privacy statement regularly to stay informed. By continuing to use Iris ter Haar's services after any changes, you agree to these changes.
