This is a beautiful quality unbleached cotton, also called calico or pitted cotton . Hoop the fabric, trace your pattern with a Pilot Frixion pen or transfer pen. And start embroidering! The fabric is also very suitable for use as a backing fabric for freeform embroidery. This means you use it as an extra layer behind your embroidery fabric. This provides extra strength and gives your embroidery a more luxurious look. In short: as an embroiderer, it's always handy to have a few calico scraps on hand.
