Embroidery with Kreinik holographic thread

This embroidery thread is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos! It sparkles and shines like a disco ball. It offers endless creative possibilities and will make your embroidery unique. Kreinik offers various types and thicknesses of yarn. This holographic yarn is a blending filament . This means it's quite thin and therefore perfect with a strand of a different color. You can also use it on its own, perhaps with two strands of it.

Features:

  • Blending filament: comparable in thickness to 1 strand of DMC yarn
  • Color: Solar Silver Holographic (001L)
  • 50 meters
  • On a handy bobbin

How do you use Kreinik yarn?

With Kreinik's clever snap-spool mechanism, you'll never have to struggle with loose thread ends again. There's an opening on both sides of the bobbin. Find the side where the thread end is. Place your thumbnail under the cap and gently turn the bobbin while gently pushing the cap up to release the thread (be careful not to let the cap come loose). Snap the cap back shut to safely store unused thread until your next embroidery session! Let the thread dangle briefly with the needle every few stitches. This prevents the thread from twisting and forming knots.
