Use DMC Soluble Canvas to embroider cross-stitch on all kinds of fabrics, such as T-shirts, denim jackets, and bags. The holes in the canvas allow you to create neat crosses. Once you're finished embroidering, simply dissolve the canvas in water, and it won't be visible anymore.

How to use DMC Soluble Canvas

Place the Soluble Canvas on the fabric where you want to embroider with cross stitches. Secure the canvas with a few stitches to prevent it from shifting. Hoop the two layers (fabric + soluble canvas) in an embroidery hoop and embroider your design with DMC embroidery floss. DMC embroidery floss is washable and the colors will not bleed, making it perfect for embroidery on clothing. Once your embroidery is finished, carefully cut out the stitches used to secure the canvas. Immerse the embroidered fabric in a basin of plenty of warm water. Let it soak for 5 to 10 minutes, and the canvas will dissolve. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water to remove any remaining canvas material.
