This gives your embroidery a beautiful metallic effect and is more comfortable to work with. One skein of Diamant thread is equivalent to two skeins of DMC splittable embroidery thread. DMC Diamond Embroidery Thread

Diamant Metallic Thread is a smooth, single-strand metallic thread that makes embroidery exceptionally easy. It glides easily through cotton, linen, satin, and silk, among other materials, and provides precise and even coverage. This special embroidery thread is tangle-resistant and soft. It is ideal for both freeform embroidery and cross-stitch. It is not suitable for machine embroidery.
