Embroidery Kit for Beginners: Learn 15 Embroidery Stitches - Tulip Sampler Book (Pink) is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
A fantastic Tulip embroidery kit for both beginners and more experienced embroiderers! By making this sampler booklet, you'll learn 15 different embroidery stitches for freehand embroidery. The kit includes the essential materials; it's helpful to order an embroidery hoop separately. Once you've finished embroidering, you can sew a booklet from the fabric. Instructions for this are also included in the kit.
Contents of the embroidery kit for beginners:
- 1 piece of fabric with pre-printed patterns (100% hemp)
- Tulip needle with sharp point
- 3 colors DMC thread: #840, #3712 and #761 (100% cotton)
- Clear instructions with many example pictures (English)
Learn 15 embroidery stitches
Among other embroidery stitches, you'll learn these with the Tulip Sampler: back stitch, chain stitch, lazy daisy stitch, satin stitch, and more! For each stitch, you'll find clear instructions with step-by-step illustrations. If you still can't figure it out, you can always search for the stitch name on YouTube. Then you'll definitely figure it out, even if you've never embroidered before! Good to know: a skein of embroidery thread consists of 6 thin strands. When you embroider, you usually split the thread. A pattern always indicates how many strands you use for embroidery. This also applies to this Tulip Sampler: you embroider all the stitches with 2 strands of thread , unless otherwise indicated. Does this sound like rocket science to you? Don't worry. It's very easy. You cut a skein of thread about 30 cm long and subtract the number of strands you need. In this video, I show you how to split my thread— easy peasy. Then you tie a knot in the end of your yarn, thread it through the needle, and start embroidering! Not included, but useful to order: embroidery scissors and an embroidery hoop with a diameter of approximately 15 cm.
Prefer to embroider with colors other than blue or pink? You can also create your own fun color combination by ordering your own DMC embroidery thread colors.
