DMC embroidery needles for cross stitch embroidery

These DMC embroidery needles with a round point are suitable for cross-stitch embroidery on materials like aida or linen. Because the point isn't sharp, you can easily reach between the weaving threads with your needle. For even easier embroidery, you'll also find special ball-and-socket needles in the shop.

What size needle do I need?

Size 22 is the thickest needle, and size 28 is the thinnest needle for this product. If you're embroidering on 14-count aida fabric with about 2-3 strands of thread, I recommend size 24 DMC embroidery needles. For finer embroidery, use a thinner needle, and for coarser embroidery, use a thicker one. See the table below to choose the perfect embroidery needle size for your cross-stitch project.
