Embroidering water lilies with an embroidery kit

Size: the final embroidery is 23 x 29 cm

Skill level: You'll embroider these beautiful water lilies on 16-count aida fabric using a total of 56 different colors . You'll fill the entire fabric with your embroidery. So, it's helpful if you already have embroidery experience, as this project might be a bit too challenging for a beginner. If you do have embroidery experience, this embroidery kit is perfect for curling up on the couch!

Embroidery hoop: Order an embroidery hoop if you don't already have one. This will keep the fabric taut while embroidering. Your embroidery doesn't have to fit completely in the hoop; you can move the hoop over the fabric. I find an embroidery hoop of approximately 20 cm in diameter is the most comfortable size to work with. For example, this Elbesee embroidery hoop made of beechwood. Or order a Nurge embroidery hoop, like the lilac hoop in the second product photo.
