Feathered Friends Embroidery Pattern

I designed the Feathered Friends embroidery pattern especially for beginning embroiderers! During Stitchtober 2025, this pattern was already created by over 2,000 members of the Iris Borduurt Facebook group. And now the complete pattern is also available as a digital download, including instructions, in the shop. Hooray! This download is perfect for beginners because the pattern requires no embroidery experience. Even if you've never embroidered before, you can create this embroidery. By embroidering this pattern, you'll learn the following basic stitches: full cross stitch and backstitch.

Pattern properties:

• The pattern is designed for 14 count aida
• The embroidery will be 11.4 x 10.9 cm in size (63 x 60 stitches)
• You use a total of 14 colors of yarn
• The embroidery fits in an embroidery hoop of ø 15 cm.
• You can also embroider the figures separately , they each fit in an embroidery hoop of ø 10 cm.
